I can not tell you how happy I was when I left work Saturday afternoon and saw my porch lights on. That was the signal that the electricity was on in my house. I nearly cried. We don’t appreciate what we have until we have to do without it…. I love electricity……..
Pillowcase Challenge
February 5, 2010 at 1:31 pm (Quilting)
As you may know, the Quilt N Bee is the only quilt shop in southwest Oklahoma participating in American Patchwork & Quilting 1,000,000 Pillowcase Challenge. In just one month, we’ve collected 24 pillowcases!
For each pillowcase you donate, you are entered in a monthly store drawing. Do you want two chances to win? Buy your pillowcase fabric at the shop & when you donate the pillowcase, you will be entered twice.
Congratulations to Anna K.-the January winner

Dear UPS Man,
Thank you for the 5 boxes of new fabric goodness.
Being closed for nearly a week because of the ice storm, has really set us behind. We have sew much to do! Top priority-Block of the Month programs & adding these great new fabrics into our inventory. There are great new batiks, neutrals & more. Really loving the “Nuances” featuring SIX 7″ stripes of different solid colors on one piece of fabric. Quilters & Appliquers are sure to love this collection!
