Today was a good day the Batiks from Island Batik arrived. I also received some Home Dec fabrics. They are from Free Spirit 8 bolts 54″ wide and they are wonderful. Perfect for bags, jackets, pillows, duvet covers and an excellent price too. Stop by and see them

Today is Monday and I want all of you to know that Western Days in Cache, OK was a success. WE had lots of visitors and everyone had a great time. The mini bull riding was fantastic. There was one little boy ( 5 years old and very small) that got on the bull and rode–it was amazing. I will post photos later.

Western Days is just around the corner. It willl be held in Cache, Oklahoma Saturday September 19, 2009. Festivities kick off at 10:00 am and continue through out the day. There will be a parade, car show, gun fights, live entertainment on the stage, vendors, kids games and activites. Lots to do and eat and see.
One of the events that Quilt N Bee sponsored was a mystery fabric quilt challenge. Everyone that wanted got 4 fat quarters in a brown paper bag and they needed to make a quilt. The quilt could not be larger than 40″ X 40″. These quilts will be on display during Western Days and a prize will be awarded for the Mayor’s Choice. Here is a photo of one of the quilts.

I have a challenge for you. In November I will have a Sample Auction. I have so much stuff and I can barely walk anymore in the back room. Sooooo in order to get a sample and not really have to use money you can collect BEE BUCKS from now until November. You earn BEE BUCKS when ever you make a purchase. You can also earn BEE BUCKS by making a cup cake block – I have a pattern here in the shop- use up your scraps. For every cupcake block you bring in you will get 10 BEE BUCKS…… What a great way to earn money!!
